We stayed at Hotel Des Volcans for one night during our travels. The location was perfect, with a service area and shopping center across the road. The views of the volcanoes were stunning and the area was quiet. The hotel was clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite the slightly dated decor, we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely return.

Over the Christmas period, my family and I stayed at a hotel on the highway close to a chain restaurant. The bed and sheets were clean, and the room had a pleasant view overlooking greenery. Also, the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

The rest of the hotel left much to be desired. The room appeared quite dated with old furniture and heating system, making it difficult to get warm. Moreover, the shower facility was quite mouldy and needed serious updating. the experience was below average and not worth the price paid.

The location of the hotel was also surprisingly peaceful, despite its proximity to the highway. It provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere during our stay. Moreover, the drive to the Vulcania theme park was reasonable, taking only about 45 minutes.
